## How setup works

1. Add CareerMax to Claude and sign in with your CareerMax account. If you don't have one, you create it as you sign in.
2. Share your résumé, or describe your experience if you don't have one.
3. Claude drafts your whole profile from it and from what it already knows about you: job preferences, the facts employers ask for, your applicant email, and whether to include daily outreach. It shows everything once for your approval.
4. Claude shows today's best jobs for you.

## Good to know

- Free Claude plans allow one custom connector. CareerMax can be that one.
- Running your brief on a schedule needs a paid Claude plan. On a free plan, say "Run my CareerMax job search brief" each morning.
- Add the connector on claude.ai or in the Claude desktop app. It then works in Claude on your phone too.
