Short answers about using CareerMax in Claude, covering Claude plans, cost, which jobs it finds, what happens without your approval, mobile, and other assistants.

## Do I need a paid Claude plan?

No. Free Claude plans allow one custom connector, and CareerMax can be that one. Scheduling your brief needs a paid Claude plan. On a free plan, say "Run my CareerMax job search brief" each morning. See [Set up in Claude](https://careermax.ai/docs/set-up-claude).

## Does CareerMax cost money?

Creating an account is free. Applying, finding people and company research use credits, and new jobs every day come with a paid CareerMax plan. See [Credits](https://careermax.ai/docs/credits).

## Which jobs does CareerMax find?

Jobs on employer career sites that use Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workable, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, UKG Pro, ADP Workforce Now and Taleo, matched to your preferences once a day. You can also paste a link to a job on Ashby, Greenhouse and Lever. See [Job search brief](https://careermax.ai/docs/job-search-brief).

## Will CareerMax apply without asking me?

Only if you turn Review before submit off in the CareerMax app. Then CareerMax submits routine applications and pauses for anything unusual. With it on, nothing is sent until you approve it. See [Applications](https://careermax.ai/docs/applications).

## Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Add the connector on claude.ai or in the Claude desktop app, and it then works in Claude on mobile.

## Do I need anything besides the connector?

No. Adding the connector is all you need. Claude learns the CareerMax workflows from the connector itself.

## Can I still use the CareerMax app?

Yes. It's the same account. Your résumé, preferences, stories and applications are the same in Claude and in the app.

## Does it work with ChatGPT or other assistants?

Yes. These docs cover Claude. The steps for other assistants are at the end of [Set up in Claude](https://careermax.ai/docs/set-up-claude#other-assistants).

## How do I disconnect CareerMax?

Remove it under **Customize**, then **Connectors** in Claude. Your CareerMax account and data stay until you delete them. See [Privacy and security](https://careermax.ai/docs/privacy-and-security).
