Key takeaways

  • CareerMax job search combines focused filters, complete job details, and pipeline saving in one workflow.
  • Your latest search and results remain available until you run another search.
  • Search costs one CareerMax credit per 20 requested jobs, rounded up.
  • CareerMax does not automatically apply to jobs or rank them against your profile.

Finding a promising role is only useful if you can quickly understand it and keep track of what happens next. CareerMax job search now connects discovery directly to the rest of your job-search workflow.

You can search jobs collected from company career sites, narrow the results with practical filters, inspect the complete posting, and save the roles worth pursuing to your application pipeline.

Start with a focused search

Open CareerMax job search and enter the role, keywords, or location that matter most. The basic search keeps the two most common choices visible:

  • Role or keywords
  • Location

You do not need to fill every field. Start with the few constraints that define a genuinely relevant opportunity, then broaden or narrow the search based on the results.

Reveal more filters only when they help

Open Advanced search to set work model, employment type, experience, date posted, skills, companies, salary, and result count.

This progressive approach keeps a normal search quick while still supporting specific requirements such as:

  • Excluding a skill or company
  • Limiting results to remote or hybrid roles
  • Setting an annual USD salary range
  • Finding contract, internship, temporary, or full-time work
  • Searching for principal, director, VP, or executive roles

Understand the search cost before you run it

CareerMax charges one credit per 20 requested jobs, rounded up. The default search returns 20 results and costs one credit. Advanced settings let you select as many as 100 results for five credits.

The search button shows the cost before you run it. A search that returns no jobs costs no credits.

Review results without losing your place

Fetched results appear ten at a time. You can sort the current result set by default relevance, posting date, or company without paying for another search.

Select a result to inspect the full job detail, including the description, responsibilities, qualifications, benefits, compensation, company context, posting dates, and original listing links when available.

Job descriptions are safely formatted before display so complete postings remain readable without disrupting the page.

Save the right jobs to your pipeline

From a result card or the job detail, save a role to your pipeline or mark it as applied. CareerMax prevents duplicate saves and keeps the original listing available.

Once a job is in the pipeline, it can become part of the wider CareerMax workflow: tailor your materials, prepare for interviews, track follow-ups, and move the opportunity through each stage.

Return without paying for the same results again

CareerMax keeps your most recent search and results ready when you return, without charging another credit.

Running a new search replaces the previous results. Named saved searches, scheduled searches, company search, agent integrations, and Auto-Apply are future additions, not part of this first release.

Start with CareerMax job search, find a role worth pursuing, and move it into a workflow you can follow through.
