Use CareerMax to Find and Manage Jobs

CareerMax Editorial Team · 2 min read

CareerMax connects job discovery with the rest of your job-search workflow. Use it to search for roles, review the available posting details, and keep selected opportunities in your application pipeline.

CareerMax does not currently submit applications automatically. Treat every application as your responsibility to review and submit.

Start with a focused search

Open CareerMax job search, then enter the role, keywords, and location that define a relevant opportunity. Start with the constraints that matter most and broaden the search only when the results are too narrow.

Additional filters can help with work model, employment type, experience, posting freshness, skills, companies, salary, and result count. A focused search is usually easier to evaluate than a large set of loosely related jobs.

Review the complete posting

Open a result to inspect the details CareerMax received for that role. Check the responsibilities, qualifications, compensation, location, posting dates, and original listing link when they are available.

Provider data can be incomplete or change after CareerMax retrieves it. Confirm important details on the employer's current listing before applying.

Save opportunities to your pipeline

Save a promising role to your pipeline so you can track it alongside your preparation and follow-up. CareerMax can help you organize the opportunity, tailor application materials, prepare for interviews, and find possible referral paths.

Moving a card to an applied stage records your own tracking state. It is not proof that CareerMax or an external provider submitted an application.

Keep human review in the loop

Before applying:

  • confirm that the role is still open;
  • review every generated or tailored document;
  • answer application questions from your own facts;
  • verify the destination and attachments; and
  • submit through the employer's supported application flow.

CareerMax should help you make a deliberate application stronger and easier to manage. It should not create applicant facts or claim that an application was sent when it was not.
