Applications
CareerMax fills each employer's application form in a cloud browser. Claude asks you for anything the form needs, and you can review every application before it's sent.

Tick jobs in the job picker and tap Apply, or tell Claude which ones you want. You can also paste a link to a job on Ashby, Greenhouse and Lever.
Before your first application, CareerMax needs the facts almost every employer form asks for: Legal first name, Legal last name, Phone number with country code, Street address, City, State or region, Postal code, Country, Authorized to work, Needs visa sponsorship. State or region and postal code are asked only where your country's addresses use them. Claude asks for anything missing and saves it to your application profile.
Each application uses 1 credit. CareerMax checks your balance first. If you're short, Claude tells you which applications started and which are waiting for credits. If an application fails before CareerMax fills the form, the credit comes back.
What CareerMax does
CareerMax opens the employer's form in a cloud browser and fills it from your résumé, your profile and answers you've given before. It uploads your résumé and checks every field it filled. Each application takes a few minutes. The applications card in Claude shows live progress, and you can keep chatting while it works.
It never invents facts. If the form asks something CareerMax doesn't know, it stops and asks you.
When CareerMax needs you
- Needs info. The form asks something new. Claude shows the questions in the card. Answer there or in the chat. Sensitive questions, such as demographics, disability, veteran status or salary history, are never guessed. When the employer offers a "decline to answer" option, you can pick it. CareerMax remembers routine answers so later applications ask less.
- Ready for review. With Review before submit on, you see the finished application, field by field. Nothing is sent until you approve it.
- Needs action. Some forms can't be finished automatically, such as one with a CAPTCHA or a sign-in wall. Claude gives you a link to continue on the employer's site. A job that needs your password for the employer's site is finished in the CareerMax app.
Review before submit
Review before submit is a CareerMax setting. In the iPhone app it's in Profile, then Settings. On the web it's in Settings, then Applications.
- On: you review each application before it's sent.
- Off: CareerMax submits routine applications and pauses for anything unusual.
Claude reads this setting but can't change it. Whichever way it's set, Claude only submits an application after you approve it in the chat or tap Submit in the card.
Check on your applications
Which of my applications need me?Claude lists what needs you first, then how many are in progress or done. If you don't get push notifications from the CareerMax iPhone app, CareerMax also emails you when an application needs you, is ready for review, is submitted or fails.
To stop an application that hasn't been sent, tell Claude. CareerMax keeps what it prepared. A submitted application can't be recalled.
If CareerMax can't confirm that a submission went through, it marks it as not confirmed and never retries on its own, so you don't apply twice. Check your applicant email or the employer's site.
When employers reply
Employers write to your applicant email, such as averychen@apply.myresume.page, and CareerMax forwards their emails to you. Claude can read new employer emails, summarize them and draft a reply. It sends the reply from your applicant address only after you approve the exact text.
After you apply
Once an application is submitted, Claude offers once to find someone at the company who could refer you. It uses 1 credit, refunded if nobody is found. See Referrals and outreach.
Job search brief
Your job search brief is a short daily rundown in Claude. Today's new jobs are ranked against your experience, with companies worth reaching out to and anything that needs you.
Referrals and outreach
Find people at a company for a referral or an intro, and get a short, personal note drafted for you. Claude sends it from your Gmail after you approve it, or gives you text to copy.
