What uses CareerMax credits when you work from Claude: 1 per application, 1 per contact search or outreach company (free when nobody is found) and 5 per company research.

Everything else is free: your job search brief and the ranking, tracking applications, answering questions, building your Storybank and drafting messages.

Credits come with paid CareerMax plans, and you can buy more. Manage your plan and credits in the CareerMax app. Credits you buy, and any welcome credits, stay usable even after a subscription ends.
A free CareerMax account gets one first set of matched jobs. New jobs every day come with a paid CareerMax plan.
When you run out
Claude tells you there aren't enough credits and gives you links to upgrade your plan or buy credits. CareerMax checks your balance before it starts applications. If you pick more jobs than your credits cover, Claude tells you which applications started and which are waiting for credits.
Your Claude plan is separate
Your Claude plan and your CareerMax plan are separate.
- Your Claude plan decides how many custom connectors you can add (one on free plans) and whether you can schedule your brief (paid plans only).
- Your CareerMax plan decides your credits and whether you get new jobs every day.
Help me prepare
Before an interview, Claude researches the company and role, reads your Storybank, and gives you a one-screen brief with likely questions and which of your stories to use for each.
Privacy and security
How the CareerMax connector signs you in, what Claude can do with it, and what never happens without you. Applications aren't submitted and messages aren't sent without your approval.
